Lighter shades (part 2 of "The color wheel")

Though I am through feeling blue
There's still a little Grey left in the hues
The day has been fairly good to me

I hadn't shed any of my precious tears
Yet, my thoughts are a little on the mending hour
So for now,I will sit back and enjoy the ride

Paying close attention to the atmosphere that surrounds me
Open eyes, open ears
Seeing things a tad bit differently

Listening to sounds I don't normally hear
A church bell rang today...
Has it been that long since I've heard that tune?

Things in my ears of a different way
The way the dog barks, and children play
Before I opened my listening ears, it was thought of annoyance

Not sure where this path of different will take me
But in the moment...
I'm feeling a little less blue!

A shade tainted a tad bit lighter
On the color wheel
