Oh, what is that?
The earth is shaking!
It’s an earthquake!
10 seconds feels like 10 years.
The ones who survived it are shedding tears.
The world around you is falling to your feet.
It’s a horrible memory that just cannot be bear.
The days go by and you continue to look for loved ones.
A boy runs by because he sees his mom.
She’s not moving.
Behind his mom, a flower is blooming.
There is hope.
No matter how far,
It seems so clear.
Next time you see a loved one,
Remember to say, “I love you dear.”
They call it the earthquake that shook the world.
You can’t help but think about that poor little boy or girl.
They sit on the corner looking for someone they might know.
But that just goes to show,
There’s no gaurentee of when you live.
But there is a guarantee that you can live.
Don’t forget to give to those who have less than you.
Only then, can emotions of pride in you come true.
Zokie....
