One rose equals one life
If everyone is a rose,
Why do I feel the need to hide
My face from the world?
I feel that I don’t belong
What did I do wrong?
In my eyes,
Nothing,
To the world,
Everything,
But why?
Every time I hide,
I die inside.
Knowing that there’s no place for me.
Being loved and loving are two different things.
Like saying and doing.
I could never understand why I’m stepped on or over,
So people could see other people and I’m standing right there.
One rose equals one life.
If everyone is a rose,
When I feel like I don’t belong,
When I feel I did something wrong,
When I feel no one says I’m loved but family,
When I feel invisible but I’m there,
One rose equals one life.
Everyone is a rose.
But I’m slowly dying.
When I hide I don’t even have to try.
When I open up, I cry
One rose,
One life.
All but me.
Zokie....
