Read in between the lines (RETROSPECT)

Realizing and accepting the truth about your life can be painful at times,
Easy money making tactics are used to often by my brothers and sisters to shine,
Through the pain and love that we go through one should always have the dying passion to live,
Really wanting to be successful and not receiving until we give,
Older folks look down on us because we complain but really we have no idea what struggle is,
Saying we poor because we don't have Dior and Gucci to drape ourselves and our kids,
Please! wearing no-frills is not a struggle that just shows that you budget right,
Even Jews have money but they wear their shoes until it's eaten by the termites,
Can we survive living together? Can we not judge one another and show respect?,
Those that say no need to look back at our leaders and ancestors and sit down and retrospect.
