What's in the box?

From outside of the box I sit stare and think
What can be inside it’s too small to be a sink
To large to be a ring not big enough for a sign
The androgynous wrapping paper boy or girl
What in the world is in the box I have to know?
However, it’s not mine to open mot mine to show
Thinking outside of the box doesn’t apply
Trying desperately to think of how to get inside
There’s no bow or a name tag to show who it’s for
No label of any sort, of course! It’s a horse
I’ve always wanted a horse. No it’s not I’m sure
It’s not my birthday or close to Christmas
Well who in the hells effing present is this?
I pick it up a shake no sound at all the box makes
Place it down and I sit stare and think
I’ve got it! It’s not for me!
Today is the baby shower for my cousin Wendy!!

Behind The Poem:
A box. oh spoiler alert,it was diapers.
