a summer evening

It’s a calm and quiet
Summer evening
Sun sets beyond the trees
Darkness creeping
I am sitting on the bed sipping tea
Outside,
Kids are playing in the garden
Birds returning to nest
Remind me
Wherever you go – in the end
You turn to home
I walk out of the room
In the garden I see
Butterfly hovering
Silently and slowly
It will fall asleep at the twilight
Farther I step
I see women going back after selling trifles
To home
Where their children wait
I see the old beggar
Done with his daily business
Flying off the flies
Struggling to breathe
Fumbling in some strange dialect
Unknown to me
He’s tired – it seems
His whispers and murmurs
They tell a saga unheard of
Broken hopes broken dreams
Sun has almost set
I came back like the birds that were flying
Back – back to home
Where their children wait…

yeah! a very nice description....deeper hmmn!
but sudden break na!!
expected some more......the end??? isnt it??
but that shows that the poet went out of that poetic mood
and ended simply.....but pleasant & cosy.....fit to take deep breath!!
