What Is Love?

Love Is A Four Letter Word
Which only some hearts seem to capture
But Most hearts never do

Love is expressed in many ways
Only being different in the way that the expresser shows them
But it is still a form of it

Love is a battlefield
Where wars are won and battles are lost
But the outcome is always so much sweeter

Love is a burning sensation, hot enough to ignite the flames of your soul
It can also be cold, cold enough to leave your pride and dignity shivering beside you
Love is death because you'll die for the one you love

Love equals compassion
But it also equals pain
Due to the sacrifices you must make

What is love
To you love is love
But to me love is hate
