Some days are hard to be strong
Don’t ask me what’s wrong, if you can’t fathom the truth
Hard to take in the world, and yet still flex the muscles of a smile
So complex, does it really have to be?
Things are floating all about
Trying to stay above the water
Drowning faster, breathing deeper, hold your nose..
You’re going under
Inhale… exhale…
Don’t follow the leader, make a path and walk it alone
Finding such a piece of yourself hiding deeply somewhere, falling quickly through the shell of this earth
Dropping a penny into a wishing well, wishes are already dried up there
Running quickly, find the stairs
Climbing effortlessly, you plunder down, rolling all around
Hard core thinking, you are sinking now
Get up brush yourself off; there is now dirt in your hair
Filthy from head to toe, except it’s not dirt, it’s your life…
You’re stuck in such muck, dragging through the mud
What a mess in this bubble of mine
In your bubble, curling up into a ball fetal position and all
Sharp pins drop from the sky, bursting your comfy little bubble
POP...POP...POP, thought I was safe inside there
You are now free falling right through such a beautiful sky
Quickly, try catching a glimpse of it all, yet it passes you by
Still the dirt is in your hair, can’t brush away the filth from your mind
Racing against time, to stand tall and brave
Living a life of such mystery
No one really knows me…
The misery …Not even do I know me
Waiting impatiently for hands to help you up
Good things to come, I have been waiting a long time
When will it be my turn around?
Faith is still yet a JOURNEY to find
Give me time, I will eventually find my way through such a hard core journey… life
I thought that I was already there?
Don’t push and shove me… It’s my fait to become the woman
I know is in there
I'll be sure to send you a thank you note when I'm finally there.
Thank you ever so kindly!

This is an emotionally deep poem that takes a lot of heart to write. You did some nice rhyming in this poem.
