Stories continued

PrintPrint

Our stories are like i said not inconsequential but essential.

Each holds a piece to the puzzle.

You come into contact with so many characters and each adds one more part.

Building you up, drawing on the blank sheet.

I've found that the old hold wisdom.

Your peers the most raw emotions and the youth hope and a fresh outlook.

We all tend to look straight forward, 2 dimensional.

But our experiences, these old tales woven thru time give us 3d.

We've finally stepped back and looked at the whole picture.

At ourselves.

So never reject advice,

Never close your ears to the truth,

Don't hold back from taking in all the knowledge you can get,

Only those who gain knowledge can hope to attain to wisdom.

And we all hope to grasp the full picture maybe even a dimension undiscovered.

It scares me but I'll never stop changing because, i'll never stop meeting people.

I'll always be a work in progress but i hope to be the best unfinished masterpiece you've ever seen.

Behind The Poem:

A friend once told me we change every 5 years. 15-20 20-25 and on and on. It's so true but it's not a loss of conviction just natural change we see more and we change how the think and how we view the world. The things we experience and the more stories we hear and the people we meet add to this.
