Life lesson

One day you 'ere flying high,
the next you 'ere in the ground.
All alone in your room you died, we assumed
without even making a sound.
A smile on your face
you stared off into space,
gone away to do other things.
With such an expression,
it taught us a lesson,
to accept all that life brings.
