Just Live

Life never goes how you want it,
It never goes as planned
Sometimes you're barely breathing
Sometimes you can barely stand

Your heart may sometimes break
Your smile, at times, fade
You'll think about the ones who left you
More than the ones who stayed

Sometimes you'll wonder why you're here
And ponder the purpose of it all
Sometimes you'll walk this world alone
With no one to catch you when you fall

You'll always have your doubts and dreams
You'll always have your fears
Sometimes you'll look back in the past
Instead of shattering all the mirrors

You'll want it all to be perfect
You'll always want to be right
But sometimes it takes a fail or two
To realize that everything's alright

You can't predict the future
There's no way to change the past
But you have to live in every moment
And want it all to last

For every smile that you've wasted
There's a happiness you can't take back
For all those bitter tears you've cried
There's a sadness holding you back

You have to learn to love
Through the good times and the bad
You'll learn to cherish what you have
Instead of regretting what you never had

You'll sit back and take a few deep breaths
And give this life all you can give
You'll learn the greatest lesson in life
