Defeat
Perplex you may call it
with very dull sensation;
something full of confusion
and static communication.
Empty stares of nothing
while no one knows what to say
anxiety stings from the chest to the back
as situations overlay.
With so much to pronounce
just never knowing how;
Because I believe you lay in the bed you make,
now reap what you sow.
Emotions taking over
as hindrance makes its peak,
this might just be the last time
that I feel my heart beat.
Too dangerous to hold these words
so deeply internally.
Kept in words
will obliterate you from within
these feelings undertake me
they erode my significance.
As we sit longer in silence
there is a destitute of being,
never on the same page,
both appearing translucently.
Where love once stood
abominate now stands
Reluctant to forgive;
pain and sorrow is now our remnants.

I like this a lot. I love the way you wrote it. It has style, description and it's from real emotions. I don't get inspired too often after reading people's poems but this poem put that affect on me.
