"THE DAY I LEFT"

I’m not going to be here long

Please don’t you mourn,

Come together as one

And sing my favorite song,

I will now be at ease

No pain will I bare,

Look at it as I am free

And I am going up there.

I saw the tears in your eyes

The hurt on your face,

When you were told

I would soon leave this place,

I wanted to prepare you

Stay as long as I could,

I got down and prayed

Because I knew that God would,

Keep me around, a few days longer,

Until he knew, that you were much stronger,

To accept my loss, which is so hard to understand

But for once, just put it all in God hands .

So as time go on, your heart will soon heal,

Don’t stop your life, I want you to live,

Handle the pain, that I am now gone,

But I am waiting for you

In my brand new home.

Hi..I cant help but wonder

Hi..I cant help but wonder about the cause of leaving in your poem and if this poem could be referring 2 the present situation in your life..I want you to know that I pray to God that you and your love ones be given more strength and wisdom to face that trial and I pray that God will make everything easier for you to handle whatever tough times you are encountering right now. Always think that many are praying for you.....
