Star Crossed Lovers

"Star Crossed Lovers"
The only star crossed lovers
Who said what's in a name
Underneath the moon light
Is where their love remains
Hid deep beneath the covers
It was not just any game
To hold each other so tight
It's best they try to refrain
Poison to fool the others
To make them think the same
She took her life last night
Poor boy he did exclaim
Love and hate a family tree
Romeo and Juliette are free
Behind The Poem:
This is not a Shakespearean Sonnet.

It's amazing how a great writer such as Shakespeare can inspire others to write alluding to his work. You inserted not only the plot of Romeo and Juliet, but also your own take upon the play. I love your suiting title for the poem, to portray the reality of Romeo and Juliet, and encourage others to read the work of such a great writer as Shakespeare.
