Enchanted Blue

Walking along this massive sight,
Touching the tide with your eyes,
Tasting the salt with your lips,
Just listening and wondering,
What is it that draws us,
All the sounds and memories,
Out there if it could talk,
But it does talk, just listen,
An eternity of stories,
Each part with its own tale,
You can almost see,
Some of battles and romance,
Triumphs and history,
A bit of pain and suffering,
Unforgettable pleasure,
A Passageway for tall ships,
A getaway for others,
Sometimes frightening yet tranquil,
Overpowering yet calm,
Could stare forever and dream,
What wonders still exist,
A mystery of time,
An enchantment until forever.

I really love this piece.
I really love this piece. There is an air of mystery, romance, and it is a sweet tale of far away places with a special someone enjoying a beautiful ocean view, or so I gather:) Your style of rhyme is lovely and I admire the tone you lent here. The descriptions of the sea, water, sight and sound give it a sensuous touch.
Well done!
