Everytime I think about you,
I die a little inside,
Knowing she is right there with you,
Snuggled up at your side,
Wrapped in your strong arms too,
Warmed by your deep brown eyes.
I won't say she doesn't love you,
Because it's not her I despise,
I hate you for abandoning me,
Your dislike of me was lies.
Societies hate for us was a spur,
It seemed to cause your sighs,
I know you love me, and not her,
Though we've seen our lows and highs.
The waves crash sadly below me,
And above is a tormented sky,
You tossed youself in the ocean,
But for your children you survived.
You know their mother could try,
But you'll never live without me,
This I'm sure she will deny,
That's something your kids won't see.
As tears fall from my eyes,
Your touch but a distant memory,
Your lips in death I won't forget,
I'll love you for eternity,
The Romeo to my Juliet.
