As you sing your face is drenched with sweat.

But in that song, one single tear escapes;

Cried for that girl who you never met,

Whose name for the moment is one you'd forget.

But someday her name will match the empire she'll build,

Based, all of it, on the music you instilled-

In her.

Someday she'll let go of the world and name she is trapped in,

And embark on the sweet journey that did begin-

With you, Sir.

Someday she'll remember that tear that you cried,

For all those who've ever had to hurt in this life,

And she'll never know just how to thank you,

Because it was cried, in part, for her.

And as the girl with no name and no home,

I thank you with this humble poem,

For making me feel like I wasn't alone.

Everywhere Right Now.
Everywhere right now,
there is
hunger
and there is
pain
there will always be
death
and there will always be
destruction.

Everywhere right now
a family is falling apart
because of
sex
or drugs
or money
instead of communicating
with each other.

Everywhere right now
someone is bleeding
and crying
and screaming
inside
without anyone
ever hearing
or knowing.

Everywhere right now
there is slaughter
and rape
and someone
robbing someone else
of their possessions
or their dignity
or their pride
their heart
and now and then
their soul.

Everywhere right now
there is an empty place
being filled with
one addiction or another
just to get though
for just one more day
holding on to the only thing
that makes
the empty place
feel less empty.

Everywhere right now
there is an unimaginable
horror
or crime
being committed
for absolutely
no reason.

Everywhere right now
someone is wishing
upon a star
for changes
and for strength
to make
things better
in some little way.

Everywhere right now
there is a journey happening
with physical journeys
and internal journeys
unsure steps
taken with care
slowly
but yet fearlessly.

Everywhere right now
a story is being told
capturing
fantasy and fiction
capturing the heart
and the
minds
of those with
a soul that flies away
lost to the magic
of words
and the power
of every element of
the primal self.
