We were introduced as sisters and formed a bond as friends.
You protect me from hurt. You taught me many things along the way. Things I will never be able to teach you.
But, there are some small things, I can do for you.
I cleaned your side of the room. So you wouldn’t get in trouble.
I lie to cover you, Even though it was wrong.
I looked up to you every day. I wore your clothes, because I wanted to be more like you.
I remember you getting angry at me for being a little brat.
It’s funny now as adults, Life isn’t what it used to be.
I know your secrets, Shhh… They are safe with me, until the light comes for me.
When I see you in pain, it drives me insane.
We may not agree every day, we may argue, and go our separate ways,
But you are my big sister, ALWAYS.
