Sound, oh such strange connection we have.

PrintPrint

Sound oh such strange connection we have
waves and waves of sound assault my ears some of it welcome, some of it profound
like the song I am listening too now.
Some sounds abuse my senses like the howling of a back yard dog
unsought unwelcome
Some sounds are background noise that you can ignore it is just there, never thought about or processed by an overactive brain
Sound oh what strange connection we have, I can hear the lonesome sound of a distant train taking it's willing and unwilling passengers who knows where.
I cam hear the sound of children laughing in the long distant memory of a summer's day My children laughing while they play the game.

I can still hear the songs of love although the love is long gone
The Song remains the same.
oh sounds what strange connection we have.

Behind The Poem:

As a Sound engineer, sounds are very important to me.. Some more so than others Some sounds are not simply what we hear,in the here and now, memories of sounds can be just as powerful.
