Photo poetry challenge (can you do it? :D)

Okay, so this was a challenge we had to do in my english honors class... We had to take this exact picture, and create a poem about it. This was my poem :

Love is written on the palm
of the hand that he last held.
Blinded by love you see only
what your heart reveals to you.
Your scarred heart is in anguish
but still you refuse
to let yourself see the truth.
You try to hide your pain
but your tears are all too evident.
He walked out long ago,
but still your love for him remains.

I won the contest and I want to see how well you all can do! :D

Rules:

Your poem must have to do with the photo and cannot copy mine. I will pick the winning poet and I MUST be able to tell the poem is based on this picture.... metaphors similies, I don't care as long as I can tell. :D also, no longer than 21 lines. THANK YOU!!!!
