This world got a grievance
This world
This world be a penance for no sinner
This World
This world chewed up a dream and spat it out like a bad taste
This world

I seen them premonitions of Utopia
I heard Martin Luther talk of the promised land
Read the book
Bought the T-Shirt
Worn it out !

I yearned and yearned
Learned then learned
There aint no salvation in this world

This world breeds inflated ego
This world
This world be a crutch for the crippled mind
This world

This world stirs the pot of moral corruption
Raises a glass to class divide
And drinks aboard a maiden voyage to anywhere
..... but this world

Segregation, Deprivation, Condemnation, Deportation
Accolades for a sovereign nation
..... in this world

This world be the assassin of truth
This world
This world teaches history through censored book
This world

This world has an insatiable appetite for spiritual decay
Upon an extortionate menu of avarice where mankind must pay
As well as tip the waiter at a table of waste
In this world

This world is his world
This world
This world is her world
This world
This world is your world
This world

Well hell
In your ignorant sleep
You can damn well keep
This world

Behind The Poem:

Ok, so it may be a hugely pessimistic view of the world and an extremely dark poem but I feel very passionately that humanity's conscience should be ever vigilant against the ignorance which fuels this kind of imagery.
