Sadly
Sadly
I can smell the stench in your breathe of words unsaid
and see the yellow twitches in you eyes as you lie
to me it doesnt matter whether or not
you stand there in denial.
You hold your self on your pillars of sand
Im on the cement silently awaiting ur grains to cave in
nothing matters to you if i leap or stay
failing to understand this isnt your world you cant have it your way.
So I take a leap of faith and leave
your presence was so foul I burry myself in accomplishments
while your not looking i hold myself up with confidence
as you admire the mirror people admire my existence of excellence
I owe it all to you.
You soaked yourself with failure
by surrounding yourself with conciet
you expected everyone to bow at your feet
and while they did, I snuck away
without enough time for you to say
anything
So as they start to see exactly what they became
I glanced and wished they followed me
but because they stayed until they were unblinded with rain
the story ends so
Sadly
