My Malevolant Friend
I met the devil one day,
For hours, we spoke,
And a deal we made.
If I gave up my soul,
I'd have eternal life,
I'd never grow old.
Every man that walked by,
Their gazes turned up,
Hearts instantly mine.
That seemed enough,
To be desires defense,
Until I fell in love.
We discovered the maps edge,
Together, traveled the world,
But the world had ends.
Sickness and age took over,
My world shattered like glass,
He grew, left me still a young girl.
The ends were violent, in fact,
Where no mortal could reside,
Where his soul couldn't pass.
He grew withered, and dead,
Still I stayed by his side,
Cursing my malevolent friend.
Behind The Poem:
Just an idea I got.

That's a pretty cool idea.
That's a pretty cool idea. Although the thought of never growing old sounds enticing, the devil actually played a trick because never growing old involves massive hurt.
