My malady
Oh, my greatest malady!
These thoughts of you and me
Here playing on my mind
When memories unwind
A force pulling me through
A voice calls me to you
Lingering eternal hours
And this, my soul devours
Feverish I sometimes feel
Yearning for a touch that’s real
To invade your ivory towers
Kisses to flow as rain showers
Could Love produce all this?
Such pain, such joy, such bliss
Like a sweet song’s refrain
Your words my soul sustain
These wicked miles apart
stab deep this lonely heart
with you, to at last be whole
is my life's simple goal
Oh, let this Love be real
Allow me a kiss to steal
And in your presence be
Come lover, dance with me

At the commence, I was assuming that you were taking about an ailment in the body, but it's at the very ending I gather the notion that this is about a lover. Great job, it's actually beautiful.
