The Death Of A Son
I bleed of man's forgivens as it stains my skin
To carry such burden dislocates my heart
Forced to perform my father's will so that all can win
To which I hope that my love for man will leave a mark
Father I beg of you with dying eyes to save me from such treatment
You can do all things yet you let me fall
In the oceans of their sins, you watch me drown as I am beaten
The king of man now suited for the dirt where I onced crawled
As I am to watch a mother's love defeated
The devil smiles with pure love under the lifeless sky
To which I pray for man to escape the ways that I've been treated
And may these nails be the truth to the devil's lies.
