06:09 & feeling fine

PrintPrint

Wanted to write one more
produce some words of clarity
to give something to allure

But who am i writing to?

The moon watches my every move
For i'm walking through life
but can't fixate to realities groove

For its vibrations are tantalising
and thrill the bleak
But they drag me down deeper
tickling the parts of me that are weak

An obvious comparison
for an obvious complaint

As I listen to the whispers of life
I sit in the sky, so quaint.

And we could listen
and we could talk
and they'll tell us not too
unless we can walk the walk

Get the money
be happy.
Make the honey
and don't you dare be snappy!

You better not complain
your presence will no longer remain
just a lingering soul
pushing into my temple

these pyramids of eyes
holding lies, cries of the human race
The time ticks by
It's movement is shown on my face

and i'll give you a smile
because It's the only thing that's left
for words are better not spoken
When the whole world has turned deaf.

Behind The Poem:

i better go to bed huh.... Goodnight. X
