Our deepest fear (collaboration w/ King Crayton)

PrintPrint

It is our light not our darkness

that most frightens us but

its truly our weakness that most enlightens us

We are brilliant and gorgeous

but its our flaws that stand out

when we make ourselves plain,

that's when our talents really show

and if Gods children were made to shine

like light who are we to change His will

or to say he's not right

Our deepest fear is that

we're powerful beyond measure

but brain over brawn was always man's greatest treasure

As we shine and unconsciously let others do the same we realize our own awareness

surpasses any wealth and fame.

It is not that we are afraid of being impotent

we are just afraid of being preeminent

as we shine we want others to shine as well.

It is our light that leads us to the right path

when we shine, others shine, they may not be the first to shine but everyone must

shine in their own way.

Our deepest fear is of being ourselves,

of showing our true colors. We are afraid

of judgement and criticism. But our

deepest fear will always be that we

are powerful beyond measure.
