Centering My Vision

PrintPrint

Lock the door and run to hide.

You can't believe all of their lies.

We stick together through the dark closet.

We hold our breath to ceize our existence.

No we kiss in the darkness.

After all is silent we laugh under our breath.

Adrenaline hyping us like meth.

We exchange another kiss, smiling together.

We wade in the darkness of a nether.

Finally we open the door trying to adjust.

You grab my right arm overcome with lust.

You force me back to you ignoring the threat.

We kiss.

So there's the enemy.

Staring us down.

Your skin turns cold in fright.

Now we eye the endangerment shining in the moonlight.

What can this mean? Is this the end?

How could this be? The enemy was a friend.

The enemy can't stand our love.

To him it's too much.

So I've figured it up.

We aren't out of luck.

I edge you forward, forcing you to run.

The enemy let's you pass, saying, "We're gonna have fun."

I know this isn't it. He pulls out a blade in which shimmers in the moonlight.

What are we going to do? I'm alone. I hear your scream in the night.

As he approaches, he throws his arm toward me.

He misses the first but then he slices my arm finally.

I begin to bleed and strike him back.

As the rain forces down.

I watch as all the anger, blood, and tears drown.

What am I to do? Where are you at?

I've seen a blade quite like that.

Covered in my blood.

He thinks he should..

Why must he kill me?

My sight is blurry.

I feel the death as my words are slurring.

I hope you ran. I hope you're okay.

I know when I die that you'll be far away.

I lay here in a puddle of blood, tears, and rain.

I feel the exhaustion overcome my brain.

I grab him by the ankle as he attempts to stray away.

He stabs me in the shoulder but it's too late.

He doesn't know I'm numb, and my essence is fading away.

His eyes as black as night are filled with so much fright.

He realizes what he is doing...

He then cradles my dying body.

Screaming for me to return.

Then all of my senses nullify.

Now I believe I die.
