Fire and Water

His fire, my water in an element fusion,
Creating a spiral of opposite illusions.
Fire‘s a toxic temperament that never lasts.
A river of me flowing down his burning path.
My fluid movement into a dangerous destination,
An opposite component that creates fascination.
Strategically working my way in, to submerge his heart,
When in reality I know that I don’t fit the part.
Proceeding into what I call a beautiful mistake,
Will ignite on top of me, but be separate as we play.
His thirst for the world and fast paced momentum,
Has my emotions high every time I’m with him.
His Hollywood dreams and ambition astound,
Makes him unavailable, cant to be tied down.
Maybe it’s the chase that keeps me chasing,
The flammable quality that keeps my heart racing.
It’s the mystery that keeps me guessing.
And his pride forbids me from confessing.
Confessing the picture I’ve painted in my mind,
Him being the right temperature to become mine.
My ocean of intuition says it’s a temporary union,
His fire and my water make a difficult fusion.
