The Coldest Love
She breathes in the heartless cold in seasons of bloom
Her love for me died as did she when her eyes laid upon betrayal
She walks aimlessly holding death by the arm for comfort before signing her doom
I cry with man's foolish tears, for my desperate attempts to save her fails
In this icy bed we lay with the stars watching upon us with sorrow
We are as distant as heaven is to hell only to disappoint my reach to touch her hair
And with one word to break the silence with her weak shivering voice she says:
"I loved you with all that my heart could pump yet I fall short to your eyes
you ate the apple from another and now love lives no more as u watch me die."
I defeat my shame to move mountains that distances us apart to hold her til the warmth of the sunrise
But I wake alone for she stays forever dreaming of our love and I for my sunrise.
