One day i met a friend

who if i wanted to would be with me till the end.

You can find a friend like mine

and he  can cost you alot of time.

He comes in a can or a bottle

both of them will give you full throttle.

He will make your mind race

and can put you in a bad place.

He can make you feel down

or make feel like a clown.

He is good at making you cry

and can make you want to die.

This so called friend of mine has put me through hell

and i have had to live in a little cell.

I sure want to leave him alone

so i can stay in my own home.

I am puttting my foot down

before i end up six feet underground.

I have to let my so called friend go

and then i will have a little extra dough.

Let me just give you a tip

do not let my so called friend join you at the hip.

Now it is time to say good-bye

i no longer want to die.
