Your World

Green grass waving in the wind
dancing trees moving to an unheard tune
children smiling and laughing
as the sun illuminates the world
care free play and joyous laughs
that is what I see on the othe side of this looking glass, a window
it stops the bullets, the insane from infecting the sane world
As I stand here looking through this barred window
a symbol of the dark gate keeping me from happiness
here the grass is dead
the trees creak with old age and fractured joints
the only illumination is the dim flickering flourescent
scared to death running and tortuous screams, blood curdling sounds
this is the reality of a perfect world, a world that they have created
I have to kill for my survival, even the smallest of animals pose a threat to me
where my insecurities would cripple me out there, they make me a god in here
far from the corrupt touch of motherly lies
government feeds me poisin with silk wrapped hands
I am the sin coursing through thier veins
slowly killing this machine that is supposed to protect and serve us
instead it beats and rapes us, like the sex offenders that come here
they convince us that it is ok for us to be abused
if you are so powerful meet me here in this nightmare
a nightmare that you have created and I have mastered
so with this smile I cut out your heart
and destroy this bastard world that you have ruled for so long.
