Failure
If failure's a habit... i have it.
Thought I could nab it... i haven't.
I get so mad at my sadness
if I could grab it I'd stab it.
The things i lack - it is tragic.
My past comes back just like magic.
Try to get past it, I'm laggin'
My odds are stacked, my feet draggin'
I'm lookin' back seein' blackness,
I guess I'm attracted to madness.
Play my stack just like Maverick,
Wanna' be bad, but I'm average.
My world's gone black, i'm adapting.
Better watch your back, I might stab it.
I get so sad - never had the
typical pad full of gladness
instead of that I got asswhipped.
Watched my dad move that traffic,
selling dime bags full of crack fix.
My sister grabbed on to the habit.
Now we all lack what we had once.
So that's it.
