“Crayon”
Here in this quite room
Four corners of the walls
Echoes of the lonely mind
Screams the desperate child
Rocking in the corner still
Scribbles words of her nightmares
Up and down the walls
Crayon in her hand
Dancing in her solitude
Shouting at her friends
Happiness in her cold dark room
Four corners of her lonely mind
Etchings on the walls
Crayon in her hand
Writings on the four corner walls
Screams the mind of a desperate child
Madness in her fragile mind
Rocking and Dancing
Whispers and screams
Crayon in her hand
Child in her lonely mind
Listening to the screams
Tears running down her eyes
Etching on the walls
Spinning in all directions
Madness in her head
Writing on all four corners
Crayon in her hand
Throws a tantrum
Screams and kicks
The madness in her head
Four corners of her solitude
Scribbles words of her sanity on the walls
Crayon in her hand
Watching and waiting
For the doctor to come in
Four corners of her sanity
Needle in hand
Screams the maddening child
Crayon in her hand
No more etching on the walls
Quietness all around
Rocking of the desperate child
Whispering to herself
Quietly pleading
Where is my crayon…..
