Day of Origin: Written by L. Winters
In the beginning it starts with a seed,
From emotions and pleasure,
Through vigorous activity,
After nine months have passed,
The water breaks and at last,
The doctor bends you over to pat that a**
Now this is your first day in the world,
With a fresh start, an new things to explore,
A lot of crying and joy coming from your mother and more,
As days turns to weeks and weeks turn to years,
You begin to notice a pattern,
That seems to happen each year,
From cakes to balloons,
Toys, ice cream, and food to consume,
Along with assorted colors and banners decorating the room,
As you gracefully age,
Some dread to see this most familiar day,
And the excitement of getting older tends to fade away,
But with age comes wisdom, knowledge an understanding,
And you see your purpose in life,
What God has truly granted,
Happy Birthday to you!
Is a chant we all like to hear,
So enjoy your precious birthday each and every year.
This poem is a poem that is for everyone that has a birthday.
It is a step by step illustration of a special day each year.
